It is not often that I am written about, especially in a positive light.  But I came upon the following statement that was written by someone with a user name of  Pentecostal, who evidently serves as a moderator of a internet forum.  I thought it most appropriate that I share what he wrote because I know it to be the truth and I thought that perhaps others might gain some insight as well.  God richly bless each of you. Pentecostal Jul 30, 2006, 7:51 AM Moderator   Beloved in the LORD: I commend to you all, a place where God is moving in the United States: Miracle Valley, Arizona. Dr. Melvin Harter (who has a real, accredited doctorate and not a fake one like many Charismatics and so-called Pentecostals these days) is an old-fashioned, holiness, Pentecostal. Dr. Harter is ordained in the Church of God, but does not practice sectarian, denominational Christianity. He is emphasizing prayer, the deflation of egos, the surrender to and obedience to the Cross, and the lifting up of the LORD Jesus Christ. I am often asked, "Where should I go to find good training for the ministry?" The places are fewer to find than proverbial "hens' teeth." However, there are three that I can think of, and Miracle Valley Bible College is one of them. Miracle Valley Bible College not only is Pentecostal in theology, but believes literally that, ". . . these signs shall follow them that believe. . ." They offer online, distance learning courses, as well as the residential program. Those of you that feel directed to study under someone who is anointed, prays and travails in the Holy Ghost, and has a brain in his head, would do well to request and read their current newsletter and get information. This Brother has, in the words of the old-time Pentecostals, "the Goods!" Dr. Harter has taught some courses in the past at the former JSBC. Unlike others in our day, "who has a name that they live but are DEAD," he is holding to the "Old Paths" of Jeremiah 6:16. I believe that God will honor His efforts. One more word, if you can't go yourself--send someone else. Give a gift to that ministry. It will NOT be wasted on country club memberships, trips to Rodeo Drive or Las Vegas, face-lifts, designer clothing, or other such foolishness. It will TRULY go to the preaching of the Cross, and the preparation of Holy Ghost filled ministers. I believe that God stands with me, as I write these words. I write them in the "fear of the Lord," which incidentally, is the BEGINNING of wisdom.
